Adding and removing add-ons, and canceling
This article explains how to add or remove Rezolv™ and Surveyz™, how to cancel a MyReviewz™ subscription, and how each change affects your data.
Every paid account includes Reviewz™ ($29/month). Rezolv™ and Surveyz™ are optional add-ons priced at $19/month each. The Complete bundle includes both add-ons for a total of $59/month. For a complete comparison, see Plans compared.
Adding Rezolv™ or Surveyz™
- Sign in, open Settings, then Manage billing & plan.
- Click Add Rezolv™ or Add Surveyz™. If you have neither yet, you'll also see Get Complete, which adds both at the bundle price.
- If this is your first purchase, you'll go through a Stripe checkout page to enter your card. If you're already subscribed, the change is applied in place; there's nothing to re-enter.
It takes effect right away. Your new module is switched on as soon as the change goes through (it can take a moment to show on the page). You're only billed the prorated difference for the rest of the current month, charged to your card on file now, and your next renewal is a clean, full month at the new price.
Adding your second add-on automatically becomes Complete, so you get the $59 bundle price rather than paying for the two separately.
Only the account owner can make these changes.
Removing an add-on
Removing Rezolv or Surveyz while keeping the rest of your subscription runs through Stripe's portal: Settings → Manage billing & plan → Manage billing, then change your subscription there. Only the account owner can do this.
It takes effect right away, same as adding — there's no waiting until the end of the billing period. Any unused portion of what you've already paid is credited to your account and reduces your next bill, rather than a cash refund.
Your data is not deleted when you remove an add-on. Rezolv concerns and Surveyz surveys and responses stay in your account; they're simply hidden from your dashboard while that add-on isn't active. Add it back later, and everything you had before is right there again. As long as you're on any paid plan, nothing is ever removed.
Canceling your subscription
Cancel through the same Stripe portal: Settings → Manage billing & plan → Manage billing → cancel.
Your paid features stay on until the end of the period you've already paid for. The Billing page will switch from showing "Renews on" to "Access until" with that date. When the date arrives, your account moves to Free.
What Free means for your data
Free is a parked account, not a deleted one. When you move to Free:
- Nothing is deleted right away. Your review history, dashboard, business profile, and QR code all stay exactly where they were.
- Monitoring pauses. We stop checking Google, Tripadvisor, and Trustpilot for new reviews, and Weekly Insights pause. Nothing new comes in until you subscribe again.
- Your login and dashboard still work. You can sign in and look at everything that's already there.
- Seats drop to one. Only one person can log in on Free.
- Add-on features are hidden. Rezolv concerns and Surveyz responses from your subscription aren't shown on Free; they come back the moment you're on a plan that includes them.
Purchasing any plan resumes everything immediately.
The 30-day grace period
There is one thing to know about moving from a paid plan to Free. Free doesn't include the paid features, so the data those features collected doesn't stay forever. When your paid subscription ends, a 30-day grace period starts, and we email you to say so.
If you haven't subscribed to any paid plan by the end of those 30 days, this data is permanently removed:
- Rezolv concerns
- Surveyz surveys and their responses
- Weekly Insights history
- Tripadvisor and Trustpilot review history, and your peer comparisons
Your Google review history is never touched. Neither is your business profile, your team, or your QR code. Free keeps all of those for as long as you like.
Subscribing to any paid plan within the 30 days cancels the removal entirely. Nothing is deleted until the full 30 days have passed, so if you come back on day 29, everything is exactly as you left it.
The clock only starts when a paid subscription ends. If your free trial simply runs out without you subscribing, nothing is removed.
Taking a break: deactivating
If you're closing for a season or stepping away for a while, you can deactivate your account instead of deleting it. Deactivation:
- Turns off your QR code (anyone who scans it won't be able to leave a review until you reactivate), and stops all monitoring.
- Deletes nothing. Your reviews, settings, and history are all kept. (Deactivating doesn't pause the 30-day grace period above, though: if you recently came off a paid plan, that clock keeps running.)
- Is reversible any time, with one click on Reactivate account.
Deactivate is only available once your account is on Free, so if you have an active subscription, cancel it first and wait for the paid period to end. You'll find Deactivate account on the Billing page and will be asked to type a confirmation word before it goes through.
Leaving for good: deleting
Delete account is permanent, and it's different from deactivating in every way that matters:
- Only the account owner can do it, and only once the account is on Free (cancel any subscription first, then delete).
- You'll be asked to type your business name to confirm.
- Your login stops working immediately. You'll be signed out and won't be able to sign back in.
- All your data is permanently erased after a short hold of about a week: reviews, concerns, survey responses, your business profile, and your team's access.
- There is no self-service way to undo it once it's started. If you think you might come back, deactivate instead.
Don't confuse this with the 30-day grace period. That only removes the data behind paid features and leaves your account, Google reviews, and profile intact. Deleting removes everything.
The short version
- Add an add-on: Settings → Manage billing & plan → Add. Switches on now; you pay only the prorated difference today.
- Remove an add-on or cancel: Settings → Manage billing & plan → Manage billing (Stripe's portal). Canceling keeps your features until the end of what you've paid for. Removing an add-on hides its data; it doesn't delete it.
- On Free: monitoring and Insights pause. Google reviews and your profile are kept forever; Rezolv, Surveyz, Insights, and Tripadvisor/Trustpilot data are removed after a 30-day grace period unless you resubscribe.
- Deactivate: off switch, fully reversible. Delete: permanent, owner-only, no undo.
