Surveyz™: ask your customers what you actually want to know
Surveyz™ allows your business to ask customers specific questions, such as "How was the wait today?" or "Would you try a loyalty program?"
What Surveyz™ is
Surveyz™ lets you run your own short survey through the same QR code you already display. No extra signs, no separate links, no new habits to build. Your customers answer a few quick questions on their phone, and the responses come straight to you.
Survey responses are anonymous. MyReviewz™ doesn't collect the customer's name or contact details — just their answers.
What your customer sees
The survey comes after the review, not before it. When a customer scans your QR code, the first screen is all about the review — they can get help writing one, write their own, or raise a concern privately. There's no survey button at that stage.
Once they tap through to post their review, the MyReviewz™ page they came from switches to a friendly invitation: "Got 30 seconds? [Your business] would love a little feedback. It's completely anonymous." It's waiting for them when they flip back from the review site. They can tap Take a quick survey or No thanks.
If they take the survey, they see one question at a time with a progress bar. Questions you've marked as optional show a Skip button. On the last question the button reads Finish, and they see: "Surveyz™ complete. Sent to [your business]."
Building your survey
Open the Surveyz™ page and go to the Build tab. You'll be offered two ways in:
- Start Survey Wizard — a guided, step-by-step path. Good if it's your first survey.
- I'll build it myself — the full builder, where you add and arrange questions directly.
You can switch from the wizard to the builder partway through without losing your questions.
Question types
Mix and match any of these:
- Single choice — pick one answer from a list ("How did you hear about us?")
- Multiple choice — pick all that apply ("Which of these did you order?")
- Rating scale — a number rating, like 1 to 5 from Poor to Excellent
- Recommend score (0–10) — the classic "How likely are you to recommend us?"
- Short text — a quick written answer ("Anything we could do better?")
- Number — a plain number ("How many people were in your party?")
- Date — a calendar date ("When did you visit?")
Each question can be required or optional. A single-choice question can also skip ahead — send a customer who picks a certain answer straight to a later question and past the ones that don't apply to them.
A few practical notes
- Keep it short. A survey can hold up to 30 questions, but a customer standing at your counter will happily answer three or four — not twenty.
- Nothing goes live until you tap Save survey. The builder shows an Unsaved changes reminder so you don't lose work by wandering off.
- One active survey at a time. Saving replaces whatever survey was running before. When you're ready to ask something new, edit the questions or remove the current survey and build the next one. Past responses are kept either way.
Viewing responses
Everything lands on the Surveyz™ page.
Submissions shows each response individually, newest first. Every submission gets a simple label based on the day it arrived (like 2026-9-15-003 — the third response that day). If your survey includes a Recommend score, you'll see it at a glance ("Would recommend: 9/10"). Tap a submission to expand it and read every answer.
Analysis rolls everything up:
- Total submissions, and a Recommend score card if you ask that question — it sorts customers into Fans (9–10), Neutral (7–8), and At-risk (0–6) and gives you one overall number from −100 to +100.
- Submissions over time — a simple bar chart of the last 8 weeks, with this week compared to last.
- A breakdown per question — bar charts for choice and rating questions, average/lowest/highest for number questions, earliest/latest for dates, and the actual written answers for short-text questions.
Getting alerted
Every time a customer completes your survey, MyReviewz™ sends an alert to each teammate whose Surveyz™ alert is set to Email (an email with a View the response button) or Text (a short heads-up with a link). The email doesn't include the answers themselves — it points you to the dashboard to read them.
Who gets these alerts is set per person in Settings → Team. See Notification and alert settings.
Turning Surveyz™ on
For customers to be offered your survey, three things need to be true:
- Surveyz™ is on for your business. Go to Settings → Modules and switch on Surveyz™ — post-visit surveys. (If the switch is greyed out, Surveyz™ isn't on your plan yet — add it from Billing.)
- You've saved a survey. No survey, nothing to offer.
- Someone is set to receive Surveyz™ alerts. If no one on your team is listening, Surveyz™ switches itself off and customers aren't offered the survey — we'd never collect answers nobody would read. Your dashboard tells you when this happens; the fix is in Settings → Team.
What Surveyz™ costs
Surveyz™ is an optional add-on to Reviewz™, the core MyReviewz™ service that every account runs on.
- Reviewz™ + Surveyz™: $48/mo ($29 for Reviewz™ plus $19 for Surveyz™)
- Complete (Reviewz™ + Rezolv™ + Surveyz™): $59/mo
Surveyz™ isn't sold on its own, and there's nothing to "upgrade" within it — every Surveyz™ customer gets the whole thing. Your 30-day free trial includes Surveyz™ automatically, so you can run a real survey before deciding whether to keep it.
