Setting up your business
Setting up MyReviewz™ takes a few minutes. During setup, you confirm your identity, select the review sites to monitor, and choose your alert preferences. No credit card is required. Every new account begins with a free 30-day trial of Reviewz™, Rezolv™, and Surveyz™.
The following sections describe each setup screen.
Step 1: Find your business
Enter your business website and ZIP code. MyReviewz™ uses this information to locate your business on Google and prefill the remaining business information.
A business must have a website to use MyReviewz™.
What happens next depends on what we find:
- "Is this your business?" — Most of the time we find your Google listing right away and show you the name, address, and star rating. Tap Yes — that's my business to continue, or No, that's not it if we picked the wrong one.
- "Which location is yours?" — If your website is shared by several locations and none of them matched your ZIP, we'll show you the list so you can pick the right one. Each location has its own Google reviews, so each location needs its own MyReviewz™ account.
- Trouble locating you — If we can't find your business, double-check the website for typos. If it's correct, you don't need to do anything else — we'll be in touch to help you finish setup.
- Listed as permanently closed on Google — We can't set up an account while your Google listing says you're closed. Update your Google Business Profile so it shows as open, then come back and try again.
Confirm your business
After MyReviewz™ locates your business, it displays a form with prefilled information. Review the information and correct any errors:
- Full business name — your registered name (for example, "Harry's Deli LLC").
- Business display name — the casual name people actually use ("Harry's Deli"). Up to 20 characters. This is the name that shows up on your dashboard and in messages to your customers.
- Website — locked on this screen. To use a different website, go back to Find your business and look yourself up again.
- Street address, city, state, and ZIP.
- Business category and subcategory — pick the closest match. This helps us tailor MyReviewz™ to your kind of business.
Your review sites
MyReviewz™ always monitors Google — it's the one site every customer can reach, so it's always on and can't be turned off.
Depending on your type of business, you may also see Tripadvisor or Trustpilot here. These are optional:
- Leave a site checked to monitor it and invite your customers to post reviews there.
- Uncheck a site to hide it from customers. We won't monitor it either.
- Use the arrows to reorder the list. The site at the top is where customers land first when they scan your QR code.
If your kind of business is Google-only, you'll skip this screen entirely.
Set your preferences
This is the final setup screen. It contains two sections.
Alerts
Choose how you'd like to hear from MyReviewz™ for each module:
| Alert | When we'll reach out |
|---|---|
| Reviewz™ | New reviews, and review responses that are overdue |
| Rezolv™ | When a customer sends you a private concern |
| Surveyz™ | When a customer submits a survey |
For each one, pick Email, Text, or Off. Email is on by default for all three.
If you choose Text, we'll ask for your mobile number and your permission to send text messages. You can change any of these later from your Team page.
Add your team
Invite anyone else who should get alerts or help manage your MyReviewz™ settings. Type their email address and tap Invite. You can add as many people as you like, or skip this and add them later.
Each teammate chooses their own alert preferences once they accept the invitation.
Tap Continue when you're done.
Meet your new QR code
After setup is complete, this screen displays your active, scannable MyReviewz™ QR code. Select it to preview what customers see when they scan it.
Your one QR code lets customers:
- Write reviews with AI assistance and post them to your review sites
- Privately report a concern to your management, so you can make things right
- Take short surveys you create
You don't have to display the QR code if all you want is to monitor and respond to reviews. But if you want to get more reviews, hear about concerns privately, or run surveys, you'll need to put your QR where customers can easily see and scan it — table signs, window clings, stickers, coasters, receipts, and so on.
From here you can:
- See QR Displays — order a ready-made display or download your QR to design your own.
- Go to my dashboard — head straight to your live dashboard.
What's next
Your 30-day free trial has started, and you have access to everything. Your dashboard will begin filling in as we collect your reviews. Explore, and when you're ready, choose the plan that fits — Reviewz™ is the core ($29/month), and you can add Rezolv™ and/or Surveyz™ for $19/month each (both together is $59/month).
If you don't choose a plan when the trial ends, your account moves to Free: you can still log in, see your dashboard, and your QR code still works, but active monitoring stops until you subscribe.
