Weekly insights and how you compare to peers

Numbers are useful, but what most owners really want to know is simpler: how am I doing, and what should I do next? Two features answer exactly that — both available on the Growth and Pro plans.

Insight of the week

Once a week, MyReviewz writes you a short, plain-English summary — no charts to decode, no jargon. Each weekly insight covers three things:

  1. What changed — the week's story in a few sentences: your rating movement, new reviews, anything notable.
  2. How you compare — where you stand against nearby businesses like yours.
  3. One thing to try — a single concrete suggestion, based on your actual data. One thing, not a to-do list, because one thing actually gets done.

You'll find it in the "Insight of the week" section of your dashboard. A fresh one arrives about weekly. On the Free plan, this spot shows an upgrade prompt instead.

Peer ratings rank

Your star rating means more with context. A 4.3 might be great news or a warning sign — it depends on what the businesses around you are doing.

The Peer ratings rank card on your dashboard shows where your Google rating ranks among nearby, similar businesses — think other businesses like yours within roughly a 10-mile radius — and whether you're above or below them.

A few things worth knowing:

  • It's Google-only. Google is where nearly everyone has a rating, so it's the fairest side-by-side comparison.
  • It refreshes about monthly. Reputations move slowly, so a monthly snapshot is the meaningful one — if your rank hasn't budged since yesterday, nothing's wrong.
  • Direction matters more than position. Climbing from 8th to 5th over a few months is a genuinely good sign, whatever the absolute number.

How the two work together

The peer rank tells you where you stand; the weekly insight tells you what's changing and what to do about it. Check the rank for the big picture, read the insight for this week's move, and let the "one thing to try" be the thing you actually try.
